There is a good use of space within the shot, using the character as a central image helps draw your eye to the center and past them towards the tower in the distance. Making you think about them going there and what will be inside.

The shadowing on the rock surfaces is expertly done, as well as the shading and coloring on the grass in the foreground. The rocks faces on the left side could become more detailed like the right ones, adding to the overall effect, however I do like the bridge-like structure spanning the ridge on the left hand side.

The perspective in the shot is key to its success as we move deeper into it we get a larger idea of what the surrounding landscape looks like, even though we cannot see much of it through the cloud cover.

The use of the cloud cover is very well done as it means that not much has to be drawn for the full effect of the dramatic landscape to take hold of you.

Overall a very well presented shot with good spacing and direction. I look forward to future concept pieces. Or further examples of this shot.
